MOUNTAIN NATURE CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong (L, D) ~ 130km ~ 2.5hrs

Leaving Hanoi for Cuc Phuong National Park around 08:00. Upon arrival in the national park we visit to the Primate Rescue Centre, which is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, breeding, research and conservation of the endangered primates of Vietnam then continue drop in Botanical Gardensnearby. Driving to the centre of the national park with stop to visit Prehistoric Cave (optional if the time permit) . Check in Bungalow and enjoy the lunch. Afternoon, trekking to Thousand Year Old Tree with drop in Silver Cloudy Peak and Palace Cave - the trail is really nice for wildlife spotting. Dinner and overnight at Bungalow in the park center.

Notes: Trekking 2-3hrs - Moderate grade  - 7km.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong Trek - Muong Village (B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast at Bungalow then start our real jungle trek through the primary forest - a idea path for bird watching. A national park ranger will be our on-site guide who makes sure that we do not get lost and he will tell us about the flora and fauna of the park. Picnic lunch in the shade of a giant tree. After 6-hr trek with lots of descents and ascents on jungle trails we make the last climb downhill to a peaceful valley and reach the village, home to Muong ethnic minority. We will take 1hr raft in the natural lake. Dinner and spend night with a family in their traditional house-on-stilt.

Notes: Trekking for 6 hours on jungle trail - Moderate to Challenging grade - 15km

Day 3: Cuc Phuong - Van Long Natural Reserve - Hanoi (B, L)

Having breakfast at the village, car pick up to come back gate of Forest to Van Long Natural Reserve. This beautiful wetland site with dramatic limestone cliffs is home to the largest populations on the endangered Delacour’s Langur. Traditional reed boats operated by local people provide visitors with the opportunity to see Langurs in the wild. Optional with signseeing countryside in buffalo-cart. Driving back Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 17:30.
